Figure C10d.2 Competitiveness

Figure C10d.2 offers an approach to breaking an object "Competitiveness" for scaling on a tactical level (for specific, open, and live cases).

The status As-Is offers a realistic view on:

  • the Capacity (on local, national, and global) to take care of Competitiveness as an Object composed of the familiar three business characteristics for both organizations and projects.

  • Competitiveness says: work on what has to be completed, connect what should be connected, finish all approved by a plan (schedule), and all with deep respect to the financial transparency and financial liabilities.

  • Three business characteristics of Competitiveness reflect Social, Economic, and Technological issues.

The status To-Be offers a realistic view on:

  • The assumptions for the sociology and psychology environment building in a specific site where the individuals and teams involved in the Organization's or Project's operations will be given proper care.

Concerning the public majority (a voting mechanism), for any collective activities.

  • Which capacities we can identify for Competitiveness existence and sustainability. The first two, Sport and War, can have similar content (in some specific items, e.g., tenacity,  persistence, and a will to win) but dramatically different forms, as we all know.

The third thing is about fear. Not about fear of losing an Olympic Medaille or death in war. But about realistic killing stages when the Human loses his/her position in the Great Triad (GT). It's called the "frog effect."

A frog falls into the warming water and immediately jumps up, but if the same frog is sitting in water being boiled slowly, it voluntarily boils and kills itself.

The next step is to build the Dialectic Diagram (DD) for three situations:

  1. For the capacity to complete tasks.

  2. For the Individual's positions in Competitiveness.

  3. For sociology and psychology influencers on individuals, teams, or collectives under the pressure of Competitiveness.

1. The DD for the capacity roles:

If we want to SHIFT the Capacity to complete all tasks for projects, we can not obit any social issues.

It is helpful to carefully step by step to solve and build a more substantial capacity to connect all stakeholders of a set of projects (of a project portfolio).

Involve them in Economic cases (project scope, costs, and schedules) relevant to their role in the Project. It is the key to capacity change building or strengthening in the needed direction.

Such a project environment is ready to accept (solve) broader technological issues (e.g., take a portion growth of new technologies like the Blockchain and Smart Contract).

2. The DD for Individual's respect and importance:

To identify and appreciate a share of each person's contribution to the Project (at least those the best of them) needs a specific attitude. Where do we take it?

There are around the Human excellent practices and is called a sport. Sport creates natural know-how for both a team's building and team management.

The triad "Capacity assumption" defines Competitiveness via three specific items: sport, war, and fear categories are significant.

Sports and Wars are strong influences on the individual personality. Fear is a solid navigator for reacting to the Human's needs to survive in the Great Triad (GT) environment.

It is a challenge for which sociologists and psychologists work.

3. The DD for the sociology and psychology influencers:

Suppose Economic issues don't find a strategy for solving them. In that case, teams of any quality have no chance to solve, succeed, or win—the more complicated problems and neglected solutions attack Competitiveness in the collective (collaborative) environment.

For example, the voting system influences many soft (fuzzy) factors (from autocracy to democracy).

Then the decision-making processes have an extended response (with almost no potency) to specific (crucial) details of a particular project.

It causes trouble for most technological tasks (their transformation or dissemination). Plenty of Summits are running, and almost no progress we do not see on the climate change issues. The Human is not fighting enough for his/her sustainable position in the Great Triad (GT).
