The way to strengthen and better ensure human sustainability in the Great Triad (GT) environment is outlined in Figure C1c.2b. In more detail, it is described in the following Sections of Chapter C and Chapters E and F. All that is presented in these Chapters is motivated  by and is about the Self-Powered Community concept built on:

  • a logical base and advocacy of the SPC Concept existence, and

  • an understandable content of its path to the goal.

The definition of the logical basis required elaboration of three independent thinking platforms: philosophical, substantive, and methodological.

  1. The philosophical level represents the Great Triad (GT). It is about the role of the Human as an observer of changes in the environment of this model.

  2. The content level is represented by the Task Triad (TT). It concerns standard organizations and projects and their efforts to digitize development processes on the floor plan of gradually entering the SPC Concept (its two models: SPC Utility and SPC Drivers) into this environment.

  3. The methodological level seeks general characteristics of the processes of organizations and projects entering the world of new technologies in developed and developing economies. The Project Triad (PT) represents these tasks.

What do all projects have in common, what is unique for different fields and territorial units and what is incompatible? But an answer to such a broad question is not the aim of this webbook. The PT is designed as an environment for global SED, DRR, and HA project preparation and implementation processes.

Chapters (A, B, C, D, E, F) respect this question but that is all. Chapters offer paths to goals with a potential for strong consensus and feasibility through simple transparent actions (projects) in the most critical social and economic environment.

The bottom (base) level of the webbook is located in the low-income provinces of the present world. The initial criteria of this approach are concrete actions (projects), their associated costs, and the need for time to succeed.

The understandable content of paths of the SPC Concept to the goal is outlined in Figures C1c.2b and C1c.3. Introduced is a package of top tasks hierarchy solved in two independent but coordinated directions. Bottom-Up and Top-Down approach. Four tasks are split into two packages with different views on the manner of their identification, solving, and implementation.

Figures C1c.2a and C1c.3 highlight a critical gap in the thinking and behavior of the Human. The gap grows with the weight (importance) of the Human in the Great Triad, GT (see, e.g., Section 5). It is not only about the growth of the human population.

The critical gap is directly related to the importance of financial operations, with a circulation of the money that man has invented and that he/she is increasingly using (in business, for pleasure, health, and education, but also in wars, killing and value destruction).

New technologies (e.g., Fintech, Distributech) are discovering new algorithmic environments and are offering new apps (e.g., based on the Blockchain and Smart Contracts services). New approaches create a new influencer on thinking and behavior changes of the Human in the complex environment of the GT.

It is not only about access to food and water (as with animals, birds, fish, etc.) but about the results of the Human thinking and behavior, including his/her unique motivation for being via power gaining via money. Projects and organizations strengthen the position of the Human to be a predator of all living nature on the Earth.

So the Human, as a dominant predator, takes gifts of Earth and Nature, and almost all he/she obtains (primarily through rummaging and mining) is used among themselves for a money value. Money finds meaning only among people. Earth and nature do not know or need them.

The author will not deal with this gap further. However, the structure of individual Chapters and their Sections and Figures will respect the gap's risks and impacts.

The Self-Powered Community (SPC) knows about this gap and puts itself in a position where the direct effects of this growing gap will be negligible at the present stages of the SPC Concept.

Nevertheless, the SPC Concept monitors every shift in the development of financial technologies, especially with the link to new technologies (e.g., fintech, bitcoin, blockchain). The reason why this gap is mentioned is given in Figure C1c.2a.

Motto: If a person has learned to work with money, he must target his skills (finance, capital, banking, and investment skills) so that his money is always liquid to the situations that come in the Universe, Sun, Earth, and Nature (in the sense of Figure C1b, and to its bound text).

Under the UN umbrella, many environmental studies and Summits declarations (evidence of what needs to be addressed) have been carried out. It is time to develop procedures to address the financial role of man in the Great Triad (GT).
